Hey there! I’m Michaela.

I’ve been working in the field of personal development and healing for over a decade.

I was always a sensitive soul that had emotions way bigger than anyone around me could handle.

As a teenager, after struggling with the deaths of multiple of my closest friends, paired with being diagnosed with Lyme Disease and my parent’s divorce, I became severely addicted to alcohol and prescription opiates.

My parents, overwhelmed with their own life difficulties, had no idea how to help, and instead just ignored the issue.

At times, I tried to seek help, but no one seemed to “get it”.

I was angry, bitter, and hurting, and nothing seemed to work.

I was begging for help but had a hard time letting anyone in.

So… I sought solace and connection in drugs, partying, sex, and… art.

My whole life I had always been a deep thinker and had an innate skill for psychoanalyzing both myself and the people around me. I often played the “therapist” amongst many of my friend groups.

However, I was in my own pain, and like most, I wasn’t ready to be helped until I was ready to be helped.

It was ultimately hrough one of my high school mentors, Mr. Oneto, that I was encouraged to go to college to pursue a degree in Art Therapy - (basically therapeutic diagnosis and treatment using various art-based modalities).

I attended Lesley University and received a degree in Art Therapy & Transpersonal/Holistic Psychology with a Specialization in Addiction Treatment.

It wasn’t until I started working with other addicts that I came to terms with the severity of my own drug use and addictions. I became a part of a group therapy program that focused on understanding addiction instead of treating it or stopping it.

It was the most effective program I could have ever found.

I developed an entirely new relationship to my addictions and haven’t used since. (*Years later I ultimately “broke” my sobriety through my discovery of psychedelic therapy, but that’s a story for another time and one I’ll certainly never regret!)

My life journey later took me to become a dog musher in Alaska, an Iboga Shaman’s apprentice in the Mediterranean, a community founder, builder, and leader in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and ultimately a transformational event producer and facilitator in Boulder, CO. :)

I’m no stranger to the spiritual path and have helped thousands along their journey to finding their way home.

I’ve been facilitating individual and group healing processes for over 10 years and am dedicated to supporting others in the liberation of their own suffering - whatever that means for them.

I currently offer a range of transformative 1:1 sessions, group sessions, retreats, online courses, workshops, and events focused primarily on the topics of healing, tantra, sacred sexuality, healthy relationships, ENM, polyamory, emotional expression, polarity, plant medicine, communication, authentic relating, psychedelics, ceremony/ritual, healing from mental health issues, and ultimately recreating the wellness and pleasure that is our birthright.
